.NET Domain Name Registrations

When the Dot NET generic top-level domain extension was first introduced in 1985, along with the first domain extensions on the web, it was planned to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure entities. Taking into consideration that there were no specific requirements about the usage of the top-level domain, though, dot NET domains were obtained and used for different purposes and by a lot of people. This TLD represents a good substitution for dot COM, particularly if the wanted domain with the latter domain extension is not free for registration.

Buying a dot NET domain with our firm is as easy as ABC and takes merely a couple of minutes, since we work with an ICANN-certified registrar. You can register such a domain for a period between one and ten years, or, if you already possess a domain, you can transfer it to our firm and we will renew it once the transfer process is done. Transfers are possible for all domains, which are at least sixty days old, given that they are not locked and that you possess an EPP transfer authorization key – security measures established by the Registry organization to prevent unauthorized transfers. You can easily modify the WHOIS information of the domain through your Control Panel, or, if you wouldn't like this info to be accessible at all, you can get a Whois Privacy Protection service, so no one will be able to see your actual contact details.

The dot NET TLD supports internationalized names, so you can take a decision whether you want to aim at a particular country or area using a domain name in the native language, or the global Internet community – using a generic English name.
